COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This three-day hands-on instructor led training course is designed to give Pre/Post-Sales Support Engineers and 3Com customers the skills required to install, configure and support the 3Com Switch and associated modules. Students will learn about the components that make up each of these 3Com Switches, their speeds and capabilities, and where they are designed to fit within a network.Step-by-step labs will guide the students through some of the most useful configurations on these switches. Students will configure ports and aggregate links, VLAN¿s, RIP and OSPF routing, VRRP, ACL¿s and QOS, Multicast, RADIUS and 802.1X and Multiple Spanning Tree instances. Students will work in teams to learn about the Gigabit and 10 Gig backbone capabilities of these switches while building in class networks that will simulate real world network situations.
