Course Description
This 2-day class discusses the concepts and technologies of the 3Com Wireless LAN Mobility System, the
site planning tools of 3Com Wireless LAN Switch Manager (3WXM) including managed access point
(MAP) placement and Wireless LAN Switch (WX) deployment in a network, and the configuration of a
secure Mobility Domain with roaming functionality.

Course Objectives

•  Describe the features and benefits of the 3Com Wireless LAN Mobility System
•  Perform an initial installation of the 3Com Wireless LAN Mobility System
• Design a wireless network plan using 3WXM
• Deploy a network plan using 3WXM
• Monitor and manage a wireless network using 3WXM
