Kursbeschreibung: Dieser Vier-Tages-Kurs behandelt die Konfiguration der Juniper Networks Switches der EX-Serie in einer typischen Netzwerkumgebung. Die Schwerpunkte liegen auf: Überblick über die Plattform, Schnittstellenkonfiguration Benutzer, initiale und detaillierte Systemkonfiguration, Funktionsüberwachung der Switche, Ethernet Switching-Konzepte, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Inter-VLANRouting, Switching Sicherheitsprotokolle und Features, IP Telephonie sowie Aspekte zu Design und Implementierung.
Voraussetzungen:
Grundlegende Kenntnisse über das TCP/IP-Protokoll sollten vorhanden sein. Kenntnisse über das Command-Line-Interface von Routing-Plattformen oder UNIX-Systemen sind von Vorteil.
Zertifizierung: Dieser Kurs ist die Voraussetzung für die Zertifizierung zum Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate Enterprise Switching (JNCIA-EX), welche Sie nach der Schulung durch einen Prometric-Test erwerben können.
